As you have probably heard a few times by now, the existing Davis-Stirling
Common Interest Development Act ("Act") has been repealed and
will be replaced effective January 1, 2014 with a new version of the Act.
The law is intended to clarify, simplify and reorganize the existing law.
It is not intended to create new legal rights or obligations, though some
substantive changes have found their way into the new statutes. The list
below provides a summary of the most significant changes.
